What is the Student Voice Network?
The Student Voice Network is a community of students interested in discovering opportunities and developing skills to share their voice.
It’s a platform created to connect and empower students to take an active role in shaping their education.
Students are provided with online and in-person opportunities to consult with BCE and contribute to their educational experience with a focus on building safe, inclusive, and engaged learning communities.

How much will this cost me?
Can I be a part of the Student Voice Network?
Are you a secondary student currently in a BCE school? If you answered yes, then you certainly can! We would like as many students across our schools as possible to join the community so please share with your friends too.
How do I join the Student Voice Network?
You can join by filling out the brief form that can be accessed above from 1st of February 2024.
When can I join the Student Voice Network?
There will be opportunities throughout the year to join. Semester one opportunities are as follows:
Intake 1-
Opens: February 1st 2024
Closes: March 1st 2024
Intake 2 -
Opens: July 8th 2024
Closes: August 9th 2024
What happens if I miss completing the form in time?
Thankyou for your interest in joining the Network! If you submit the form outside of intake times you will be added to the network during the next intake period. We cannot wait to have you on board! So please complete the form now so your ready to join the Student Voice Network.
Once we have received your form, we will send you a welcome pack detailing the Student Voice Network orientation process. We will also be sending your parent/ carer information about the Network and confirm that your parent/carer your involvement in the Network.
I don’t live in Brisbane city but I go a BCE School, Can I still join in activities and the network?
Absolutely! We want to make the Network as accissible as possible for all BCE students.
Can my friend, who doesn't go to a BCE School, join the Student Voice Network?
Unfortunately, only BCE secondary students can join the Student Voice Network.
How much time do I have to commit to being part of the Network?
You're in control! The Student Voice Network tailors to your schedule. Engage as much or as little as you want. With online and in-person options, it's all about fitting into your priorities and commitments.
I'd like to take a more active role in Student Voice, how can I do this?
If you sign up to the Network in Term 1 February 19th, you will have the opportunity to submit an application to become a Student Voice Consultant. Consultants will be a core team of students who hold specific roles and will support the operational work of the BCE Student Voice team.
I'm not a student, I'm a BCE staff member can I join the network?
As you are not a part of the BCE student community you are unable to join the student network, but we would love you to partner with us to elevate student voices. Connect with the team at voice@bne.catholic.edu.au to see how you can engage students in the work that you do.
